MD20 High-Temperature

The MD20 admittance probe offers level switching at temperatures up to 232°C, with an extreme 550°C version also available.

The Hycontrol MD range of admittance level switches provides simple, accurate and reliable level control for many applications. They are suitable for use on liquids, solids, slurries, pastes, granules, powders and pellets in high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments.

The main advantage of using this switch admittance range is their ability to ignore product build-up on the sensing probe. In addition, this unique design utilises a protective insulation electrode between the conventional central electrode and the grounding sleeve, enabling the electronics to distinguish between coatings and the actual product level.

This technology also provides an ideal solution for interface detection applications such as oil on water and liquid detection underneath a foam layer.
