Training

IMPORTANT UPDATE JULY 2020 - We are now booking training sessions again; however, following current social distancing guidance, we are limiting the number of attendees per session to SIX ONLY. Attendees will be required to bring their own lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided, as well as hand sanitiser, masks and gloves if required. Please note there has also been a slight increase in course fees, which we have attempted to keep to a minimum. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Having worked closely with the quarry and aggregates sectors for over thirty years, Hycontrol has become one of the most experienced companies to specify and supply level and pressure equipment in the UK. Hycontrol is now in a position to share our wealth of accumulated specialist knowledge with the industry, focussing initially on what we believe is the most pressing and widely-misunderstood issues facing aggregate and cement producers today: silo over-pressurisation and safety. Hycontrol has always provided training to customers, but we are now happy to be sharing our years of accumulated silo safety knowledge with the whole industry.

We are now offering in-depth training courses for UK industry representatives at our Redditch, Worcestershire headquarters. The sessions are a detailed exploration of the causes of silo over-pressurisation, the risks involved, practical solutions, and much more – with experienced engineers and trainers providing hands-on demonstrations and able to answer any questions that arise. Lunch and refreshments are provided as part of an event-filled programme of learning.

Hycontrol's training programmes and training providers are fully accredited by the MPQC (Mineral Products Qualifications Council). An optional official MPQC certificate can be purchased, which is a recognised CPD document.
