One of the leading independent oil companies in Ireland has upgraded its complete factory with level monitoring instrumentation from Hycontrol. The equipment chosen included the new high accuracy TDR VF7 series (3mm) and the very successful ultrasonic transmitter range, Microflex-C.

The total project upgrade included 42 tanks of various shapes and sizes and the media ranged from diesel to lubricating oils. Accurate level measurement was only part of the application as local and offsite monitoring of the tank contents was also required. Hycontrol's Webflex was able to meet the customer requirements exactly as it has been designed for use on any company LAN network. Webflex is also capable of realtime monitoring over the internet using GPRS which satisfied the customers requirement for off site level monitoring easily.

Webflex can be viewed by multiple users at any time and when high or low limits are reached it can even send an email to inform of the condition as well as generates report on the tank contents usage.
